Welcome!

Welcome to the start of what we hope to be a beautiful journey. In an effort to raise adoption awareness around the World, this ministry was born.

Not everyone is called to adopt a child, but we are all called to look after orphans in their time of distress. Any time a child is without food, water, clothing, shelter it's a time of distress. Any time a child is without touch, laughter, hugs, love, it is a time of distress. Any time an orphan is without CHRIST it is a time of distress.

Unicef states in 2005 there were over 132 million orphans worldwide. Unofficially, it's estimated the current number is 147 MILLION children without parents who love them. CHILDREN who are entering prostitution to make ends meet, CHILDREN who are being sold as SEX SLAVES around the world because they feel they have no choice. CHILDREN who are dying daily from AIDS contracted from HIV--now being referred to as a chronic condition--not a death sentence.

Please join us, and become a prayer warrior for one child.

In your email please state preferences of: gender, age, country, special needs and we'll do our best to provide a match!

Defend the cause of the fatherless.

Ask yourself, WHY WOULDN'T I?

Work

My husband, like many others work. He works hard so I can stay home with our children. With the up and coming adoption, he's working even harder which requires more and more of his time. His days are getting longer.
Thankfully, with summer being here, the days are longer and we still feel like we have more time as a family together during the daylight hours. Thank God for nights that don't come until after 9pm.
This past week, in my book was about my husband's work.
My husband loves his job, loves his company, the pay and benefits are pretty decent. With the current recession of economic times, his company hasn't given raises in well over a year and a half. Next month they'll finally receive their due rewards of perserverance through the times.
God showed me how excited it could be to pray for my husband. I'm excited to say I'm loving it!! Even during the times when we aren't getting along (gasp!! They do happen ;) ) I am able to find praying for him easier an easier. I know God wants a better life for us, I refuse to wallow any longer.
During my prayers, I was shown how to lift my husband up to the Lord regarding his work. I thanked God for providing people for my husband to surround himself with that encourage him not burden him. More and more Christian men are beginning to work around Dan and Dan is loving it. I can't say I don't either, as the excitement my husband is getting for the Lord is equally exciting to witness!! He's finally getting the fire I have wanted for him. There's a certain wonderful something about his excitement, life, realization being born into his eyes.
The transformation is beautiful. Thank you Jesus!!
